I understand that Team Brookline is an athletic charity program and that participating runners are responsible for meeting a minimum fundraising requirement of $6,000.
I understand that I will be supported in my fundraising efforts by members of the Team Brookline staff. Should I not meet the minimum financial requirements of participation by April 12, 2019, I understand that Team Brookline reserves the right to charge the balance owed to my credit card, unless prior arrangements have been made.
I understand that my participation and enthusiasm are important to the success of the team. If accepted to Team Brookline, I will attend monthly team meetings, participate in team training runs, and support other team activities to the very best of my ability.
I understand that if accepted to Team Brookline, I may cancel my participation any time before December 1, 2018. After that date, I will be responsible for raising the minimum fundraising requirement even if for any reason (including injury) I am unable to train for and/or run in the Boston Marathon on April 15, 2019.
I agree that Team Brookline will charge a non-refundable $25 application fee to my credit card upon receipt of this application.
I agree that if accepted to Team Brookline I will make a $100 non-refundable donation to kick-off my fundraising effort and that this tax-deductible contribution will count toward my fundraising minimum.
I understand that if accepted to Team Brookline I will be solely responsible for paying the BAA’s Boston Marathon participation fee.
